September 20, 1955 – January 28, 2023

With his family by his side, Abe Elias brought his circle of life to a close on January 28, 2023 at the University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton.

Abe was born the 6th of 10 children to Susie and Peter Elias of Morden, Manitoba.

Holding his memory in our hearts, he will be forever missed by his wife, Beth, children Daniel, Trevor, Josh and Becky, his siblings Mary (Richard) Klassen, John (Evelyn) Elias, Susie (Waldo) Sawatzky, Peter (Cindy) Elias, Sarah (David) Dyck, Tena (Ike) Fehr, Helen (Larry) Nickel and their families.

Abe joins his parents, sister Margaret, Brother-in-law John, little brother Jacob, and granddaughter Madison at his final resting place.

Abe spent over 30 years in the trucking industry. He loved meeting new people, making all of us laugh, while seeing new places along his ribbon of highway.

Condolences

To Beth, Daniel and family. Our hearts go out to you, we are so sorry for your loss. Abe was quick to offer us our first set of chairs and table when we first moved out, mismatched but we did not care, it did the job. He will be missed, especially by my dad who has lots of trucking memories with Abe. Love Shari and Dave
