Late Arun Kumar's families and friends. My name is Mahendra Chand and I have known my late friend for over 50years from our good old days in Fiji. He was one of the most sincere and kind human being who always maintained cool calm and balanced state Of mind in his dealings with everyone. I sorry for not being able to be in his funeral to share the grief in person with his loved ones. I would have loved to be with the families in this trying times but circumstances are such that I have to use this medium to pass on my message to the families. Nevertheless, I do wish to let you all know that I have over the many years known late Arun Kumar as a very genuine and reliable friend and the years we spent together, and known each other working as friends In Fijian government will be impossible to forget. Sincerely it's never easy to come across trustworthy friends and even families in this material world where humanity is fast eroding and true friendship is rare. Anyways all good things comes to an end and memories will stay on to be cherished by the dear one's. God's wish is ultimate and nothing we can do to change the situation. Love and best regards to all of your loved ones.

To all our dearest relatives our heartfelt sympathy for the huge loss of Bhai whose absence will always be felt. We will miss your smiles and good humour bro. Your caring nature, support for all, and concern for everyone's welfare cannot be matched and will always be remembered. A seasoned public service officer held in high esteem is an absolute example of dedication to serve the Community, not overlooking the sincere religious commitment and respect you had not only for Hinduism but for all religions.
