Obituary For Brenda Lorraine Lacey

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Brenda Lorraine Lacey (Lucas) on August 2nd 2021 at the Wildrose Manor in Grande Prairie.

Brenda was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and she was always on the move, from Calgary to Grande Prairie in Northern Alberta, to White Horse in the Yukon, and to Duncan on Vancouver Island in BC. She loved to be a snowbird and would fly to Mexico every winter in her golden years.

Brenda was always the life of the party, her friends and family were her priority. Football was a big part of her life, she was a ride or die fan of the Roughriders and would never skip their games.

She will be remembered by her children Dillon (Kerri), Ryan (Lucie), Ames (Kazuyo); grandchildren Vance, Rayne, Shanon and great grandchildren Harper and Weston. Also lovingly remembered by her siblings David (Christel), Donna, Leonne (Chuck); her nephews and nieces Marlann, Trevor (Hollie), Curtis (Ashley) and Trina and her great nephews and nieces Carver, Nathan, Bailey, Jack, Ava, Abigail and Navanna. Brenda will also be remembered by her numerous and dear friends.

She was predeceased by her ex-husband Bruce, her parents Rose and Benjamin, as well as her brothers Terry and Lloyd.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 8th at 2pm at Bear Creek Funeral Home (11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie).
