Obituary For Chistopher Jason Frank Brady Gordon

Christopher Gordon passed away suddenly in Grande Prairie, Alberta on Saturday, August 7th, 2021 in his 43rd year. Previously resident of Straffordville, Ontario.

Chris was predeceased by his beloved mother, Eleonore (Rick), his grandparents Frank and Susan Koch and his uncle Peter Koch.

He is survived by his father Jasen Gordon. Dearest nephew to Diane (Norman) Arseneau. Dear cousin to Carrie-Ann Wotherspoon (Mike) and Alexander Arseneau (Marina). Dear step-brother to William, Rikki and April Merkley. Dear half-brother to Kevin, Jeff and Angelina Gordon.

Chris will be sadly missed by family and friends in Ontario and Alberta.

Chris was a quiet guy with a big heart. He loved small pleasures like fishing and playing video games with the young kids and adults. He loved to collect hats and watches and had recently returned to his trade of haircutting/hairstyling. He had planned to go back to school to increase his skills.

Cremation has taken place. Interment of urn to take place at the later date at Erskine Cemetery, Pickering, Ontario.

A memorial service will also take place at a later date.

Memorial donations to the CAMH – Centre for Addiction & Mental Health, Toronto.

“If your heart is heavy now
because I’ve gone way
Dwell not long upon it friend
For none of us can stay
Those of you who liked me,
I sincerely thank you all
And those of you who loved me,
I thank you most of all.

And in my fleeting lifespan,
as time went rushing by
I found some time to hesitate,
To laugh, to love, to cry
Matters it now if time began
If time will ever cease?
I was here, I used it all,
And now I am at peace.”
