It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darcy Lynn McQueen, who left us on before her time on August 20, 2023. Darcy was born on December 8, 1963, in Fort St. John, and spent a life full of love, laughter, and meaningful connections.

Darcy was a dedicated individual who pursued education in Fort St. John, B.C., laying the foundation for a future marked by accomplishment and character. After completing her education, she embarked on a journey that would lead her to many wonderful experiences.

One of the most cherished chapters of Darcy's life was the enduring love story shared with her beloved spouse. Married for over 35 years, their bond was an inspiration to all who had the privilege of witnessing their devotion. Together, they navigated life's ups and downs with unwavering support, creating a legacy of love and commitment that will forever be treasured.

She will be forever missed by her family, Ross McQueen, Lenard McQueen, and Ryan McQueen, as well as many friends, acquaintances, and the many other lives she touched during her time in this world.

A private family Celebration of Life will be taking place at a later date.

I have nothing but found memories of Darcy she was a big part of my children's and my life. My children always saw her as family the saddest day for me was the day we left Grande Prairie because I felt like I was leaving family behind. Ryan your mom was an amazing woman who was always so proud of you and all your accomplishments big or small. She will be missed
