December 31, 1993 – September 1, 2023

To all of Daylon Grimard's family, friends that became family and the amazing Hip Hop Community of Grande Prairie and surrounding areas, who loved and supported his dreams, this is to inform you that Daylon Chad Joseph Grimard passed away with his sister, Cindy and mother Glenda by his side on Sept 1, 2023.

He will be sadly missed by his mother, Glenda Patrick, his two sisters, Cindy Patrick and Hailee Grimard, grandparents Vic and Nita Patrick, as well as by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and many, many friends.

On his journey to Heaven, he took the hands of his predeceased father, Marcel Grimard and went lovingly into the arms of his grandparents Suzanne (nee Casavant) and Laurent Grimard.

Daylon’s passion and dedication for his music and the hip hop community will live on and will be cherished by us all forever. As per one of his many tattoos Daylon will 'Always Prevail' and his legacy will never be forgotten and will live on through his music.

And may his hard work touch lives and inspire others to follow their dreams and never stop believing in the power of using your strength, passion, and perseverance to never give up on your dreams and endeavors.

Please join us for a Celebration of Life for Daylon on Saturday, September 16th at 3pm at Bear Creek Funeral Home 11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie, followed by a time for food, refreshments and reflections of Daylon’s life.
