Cousin Aaron, I am so sorry for the loss of your grandfather. Even though we've never really met or interacted with him, I heard amazing things about this lovely human being and man of God. We are thinking of you during this super tough time; at times it's to a point where it's so heavily unbearable because our collective pain is now twofold. Know that we are here for you too and we love you and your family. Praying that his great work in this lifetime will leave an everlasting footprint and a legacy that will live on. May those amazing memories carry you and your family thru and bring you all peace for the days ahead. We praise the Lord as we know he is now resting in his eternal Father's arms. Sorry we can't be there today to celebrate his life, but you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We send our love to your dear mom and the rest of your family. Take care and let us know if we can help you in any way going forward. 💕Lots of Love, Jennifer, Alvin, Makara & Kristopher

My deepest sympathies to Brenda, Dawn, Glenda and all your families. I lived in Cherry Point for a brief period in my childhood but my family and extended family lived there. I have so many fond memories of Ed preaching in the small church and so many more playing with Dawn and Steve at their family home. Ed was always so kind, I know he will be so very missed. Ed will forever live in my heart. He was a joy to be around. One of the most authentic and kind hearted men on earth. I could talk with him about anything. He was the best listener and always had good advice. If he didn't know what to say he would aim towards Jesus in prayer and worship. We could praise God anytime and anywhere just for fun. He was so loving and genuine. When I was happy he was happy when I was sad he felt it too. He was always happy and joyful so you couldn't be sad for too long because you just couldn't. If it was extreme there was prayer and worship to cure the issue. An inspiration and spiritual father to myself and many other people. Many great stories he would tell about bear canyon and Dawson Creek Norm La Brentz and Evangel assy. The Teen challenge days when you guys started evangelizing the area around Grande Prairie. The camp meetings outside of town before I was even born. Sharing garlic sausage from Lawrence meats in Dawson.going fishing and for drives, going and helping others.... He was always there for me in every way. My best friend and mentor. One of the best things he told me that his mom told him. "Mans extremity is Gods opportunity" Another good word "God will bless you where you're at" I'm a better man because of your love and influence. You influenced me the most in the Love of God and you showed me how to be in relationship with Him. Always aiming at Jesus, always inviting the Holy Spirit. You're a true pioneer in the faith Ed! You never let me down. Ever! See you in the morning Unc! Till then I'll be counting my blessings! Love you forever Jamesey
