Obituary For Helmut Hintze

March 6, 1948 - May 19, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dearly loved husband, father and grandfather, Helmut Hintze at the age of 74.
Helmut was born in Dinslaken, Germany. He came with his family to Canada on November 22, 1956. Helmut married the love of his life, Eileen, in Calgary, Alberta. They were blessed with two children, Deana, and Jeff. They moved to Sexsmith in 1976. He was employed by Northern Alberta Rape Seed Processing until they closed the doors. Then he was so happy to work as head guard for Grande Prairie R.C.M.P. until he retired at the age of 70.

He loved life and his many friends over the years doing golfing, fishing, gold panning and going away with his fifth wheel.

He will be so sadly missed by all his family and friends; he really went too early.

He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Eileen, daughter Deana, son Jeff (Denise) and his three grandchildren Addison, Austin, Ryan along with step-grandchildren Ashley and Samantha. He also leaves behind his siblings Crystal, Karin (Gary), Horst, Reiner (Kim) and Linda (Fred), along with brothers in law David (Mary), Robert and Calvin (Gladys).

Helmut was predeceased by his parents Walter and Matilda, his brother Gunther and sister-in-law, Linda.
