Obituary For Jacques (Jack) Pelletier

November 30, 1958 – September 28, 2022

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our brother Jacques Pelletier, better known as JACK PELLETIER, or nick name: JACK the Bear; who unfortunately passed away September 28th, 2022 at the age of 63 in the care of nurses and doctors at the Grande Prairie Hospital, in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Jack loved life, and was a very kind gentle man, was fun loving, and always willing to help others when ever he could. He enjoyed the simplicity of nature’s beauty, played guitar, and was a talented artist. Jack was born in Quebec November 30th, 1958, and he left home right after high school to find work in his field as a welder and sheet metal worker, and also to pursue his dream of living in Alberta and in the BC mountains which was often reflected in his artwork. Jack worked on the oil rigs, the pipeline and later worked in HVAC. Jack never married, but he did find the love of his life with Michelle on Vancouver Island.

Rest in peace Jack and no longer in pain; You never will be forgotten, and will live forever in our hearts!!.

Jack leaves behind his brother Marc Pelletier & Diane; brother Carl Pelletier & Cathy; and his brother Rick Pelletier; and his sister Rachelle Pelletier-Lachance & Robert, and many of Jack’s dear nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends from Ontario, Quebec, Alberta & British Columbia.

Pre-deceased by his late father – WW2V – Jean-Paul Pelletier and his late mother – Fernande Leduc-Pelletier; He was also pre-deceased by his late brothers John Pelletier, and Michel Pelletier.

The Pelletier family wishes to send a special thank you to: AISH, Shandel, Phyllis, Dr.Tania, Carl & Rick, and his best friend Moose, and Jennifer & Karleigh from the Bear Creek Funeral Home , and also his friends at the Willow Place. “A private family ceremony will be held to honour the celebration of Jack’s life”

In lieu of flowers, please add your name, or add some kind words, light a candle, or say a prayer, or celebrate Jack’s life in your own way! Thank you so very much Pelletier family
