James ‘JA’ Ashley Smith
December 4, 1960 – November 10, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Ashley Smith on November 10, 2023, at the U of A Hospital in Edmonton.
JA will be sadly missed by his loving wife Judy, parents Jim and Connie Smith, stepson John (Shan) Froude, sister Candice (Ray) Sylvester, brother Kelvin (Colleen) Smith along with their families, other family relatives, friends and his co-workers of 19 years, Roger Viegas and Marilyn Beckett, and many others

My deepest condolences to JA's family and his many, many friends. He was a great guy and wonderful to work with over the years. We enjoyed "competing" and helping each other when needed. He was my favourite golf partner at the Annual Printers' Golf Tournament. JA will be greatly missed.
