  • My condolences to all the family. I met Jerry on a wellsite back in early 2000, near Hinton Alberta. I was there to do a site visit and I had never met Jerry before until that day. He was very kind and welcoming, as he was with everyone. He showed me around a little and then he continued with his work. I later transferred up to Grande Prairie from Red Deer in 2010. Jerry was a wellsite manager for Halliburton by then and I got to work him a lot and really got to know him. He always had that smile and a joke or a story to tell. As time went on, he became a Field Manager, and he was now a co-worker of mine. On many Saturdays we would have some great talks. Some about work stuff but now and then he would talk about family, which some of those stories were darn funny. Jerry was a real family man and I greatly admire him for that. He was truly a great friend, and I will miss him dearly.
