September 7, 2022 – March 16, 2023 It is with heavy hearts, we mournfully announce the passing of Liam James Jenner. Liam was born September 7, 2022, and, at only 6 months old, passed away on March 16, 2023. Liam was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta, at Grande Prairie Regional Hospital and his family was so happy to welcome him. At 3 months old, his family learned he was born with a rare condition called Biliary Atresia (liver disease) and sadly a liver transplant in March was unsuccessful. Liam passed away with his parents by his side at the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. Liam was a very happy baby; always smiling. He would laugh from tickles and silly games. He would have long conversations with anyone even his toys. Liam was calm and content unless he was hungry. He loved spending time in the water relaxing. He enjoyed his swings or being rocked by the people who were close to him. Cuddling was his favourite thing to do, especially while being held by his big sisters Kaydence and Haylee. Liam spent many weekends at the family cabin around the campfire and napping inside with his best pal Cash, the family dog. Liam is survived by his parents Derek Jenner and Sarah Winters, big sisters Kaydence and Haylee, his grandparents Valerie Jenner, and Keith and Ruby Winters, his aunts Melanie Jenner and Lisa Larson, and cousin Olivia Larson, his uncles Joseph Winters (Ashley), Dylan Winters (Jessica), Dustin Winters (Opal), and Jesse Winters.Liam is predeceased by his grandfather, James Dwayne Jenner. A memorial for Liam will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Bear Creek Funeral Home.
