Obituary For Mark Richard Davis

March 12, 1980 – February 7, 2023

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Mark Richard Davis on February 7th, 2023, in Grande Prairie, Alberta at the age of 42 years.

Mark will be lovingly remembered by his sons: Marcus and Aiden, his Mother Linda, Stepfather: Rob, Sister: Brandy (Liam), his Brothers: Michael, Keith and Kurtis (Jennifer), as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Mark was predeceased by his Great Grandparents: Mary and Maxime Giroux, Grandparents: Helen and Walter Sawich, Vivian Sloan and Kenneth Davis, Father: Richard Davis, and the love of his life: Leigha.

In life Mark was true to his friends and cared deeply about his family, he carried this admirable quality into his adult life, his passion for kindness and love not only extended to friends and family but also strangers in need. His acts of compassion and charity truly shined a light at who Mark was, whether it was volunteering his time, giving someone a warm place to sleep on a cold night, or just conversing with a stranger in need of a friendly voice. The pillars of light in Mark’s life were his sons Marcus and Aiden as well as his recently passed friend and love Leigh. Peace, pride and love would show on Mark’s face when he talked of them so much that you could feel it radiating off of him. Mark’s love for all for all things in life was a blessing, an admirable quality we should all hope to have and strive for. Mark you will be missed.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 11th, 2023, at 1:00pm, at the Slave Lake Royal Canadian Legion, 400 Main St NW, Slave Lake, AB.

Miss you bro! I am sorry that I didn't reach out as much in recent years. Life has many regrets and that will forever be one of mine. In saying that I will do my best to keep your plants alive, so that part of your spirit can live through them. I love you bro, always know that. Kurt
