Obituary For Michelle Marie Jones nee Garant

January 19, 1970 – August 17, 2021

With broken hearts, we would sadly announce the passing of Michelle Marie Jones (Garant). On August 17th, 2021, Michelle, 51, went to be with her Lord and Savior. She fought a very long and courageous battle with MS after being diagnosed in 1993. She chose to encourage and support others who were fighting the same fight. She made a difference with whoever she shared life with - doctors, church communities, fellow secretaries and many individuals along the way. Michelle showed love, acceptance, compassion, and she was a loving friend.

She will be forever remembered by her husband Dale Jones and their children Krystin Bond Holloway (Ty), Keaton Jones and Grandchildren Rylee, Madison, Laine. Also lovingly remembered by her parents Wayne and Lillian Garant, her siblings Jodi Whitby (Trevor), Denise Jones (Chris), Lee Garant (Koreen) and many nieces, nephews and extended family and many dear friends.

Two celebrations of life services will take place. The first is at Willow Park Church, Hwy 33, Kelowna, on Saturday, August 21st at 1 pm, the second is at People's Church, 11850 108 Street, Grande Prairie on Thursday, August 26th at 1 pm. Michelle will be laid to rest at Grande Prairie City Cemetery. Rev. Phil Collins will be officiating both services.

As a family, in memory of Michelle we would love to see in Lieu of flowers you support the opportunity for children from the community to attend major camp and retreat weekends where they will be introduced to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Willow Park Church and People's Church.
