April 17, 1980 – December 20, 2022 age 42 yearsOn Tuesday, December 20, 2022, Peter tragically lost his life on Highway 40, returning home from a job that he adored.Pete was a loving husband to Courtney, and an exceptional dad to Trinity and Zander. They were Pete’s number 1 priority and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for them. Pete loved working in the garage, remodeling hockey figurines, and his Toyota Tundra.Left to mourn are his soulmate, Courtney; children Trinity (15 years) and Zander (9 years); parents John and Nancy; father and mother-in-law Dale and Elsie; sister-in-law Candace (Andy); nieces Jessa and Piper; and many extended family, friends, and colleagues. Pete was pre-deceased by grandparents Jean and Arthur LaPratte and Zuraida and Manuel Pavao, and his close friend Anthony Duncan.A viewing for Pete Pavao will be held on Dec 31, from 4-5pm at Bear Creek Funeral Home, Grande Prairie. A Celebration of Life will take place on January 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Bear Creek Funeral Home, 11802 99 Avenue Grande Prairie. As many of you know, Pete was a simple man and suits were not his style – he barely wore one for his own wedding day.
