Obituary For Roy Edgar Gustafson
June 13, 1929 – April 15, 2023It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roy Gustafson. Roy was born on June 13, 1929, and passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 93 years, after a short hospital stay.Roy will be sadly missed by his wife Esther, son Gary and daughter Brenda (Wade) Sandboe; grandchildren Jennifer (Sheldon) Graham, Jessica Gustafson, Dale Gustafson, Christopher Lawrence, Lesli Lawrence, Darren (Natasha) Ward and Sheldon (Amanda Banks) Ward. He will also be missed by his great grandchildren Trayden, Teanea, Johnny, Jayce, Jack, Hyder, Kelton, Emeri, Ashlynn and Emily and one great-great grandchild, Levi.He was predeceased by his daughter Audry on January 30, 2015, and daughter-in-law Marilyn Gustafson on March 16, 2018.A Funeral Service for Roy will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 10:00 am at Bear Creek Funeral Home, 11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie.Memorial donations in honor of Roy may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 5241 Calgary Trail NW Edmonton AB T6H 5G8Care entrusted to Bear Creek Funeral Home 780 830 7742 bearcreekfuneral.com
