Obituary For Shane Douglas Page

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Shane Douglas Page on July 16th 2022 at the age of 48 years. Shane was born on April 1st 1974 in Calgary, AB.

Shane is survived by his daughters Mickayla Stewart (Shane), Madisyn Page (Riley Friedel), Meaghan Page, 2 granddaughters, Grace Sutherland and Lennyn Stewart, his father Gregg Page and stepmother Sylvia Page, his mother Marna Laws and stepfather David Laws, three sisters, Christi Provencher (Steve), Rachelle Page and Andrea Page, as well as numerous nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Anyone who knew Shane knew his girls and granddaughters were the light of his life and he loved them unconditionally. He will be very missed by all of his family and friends.
Shane left Calgary to pursue a career in the Oil & Gas industry in the early 1990’s and eventually formed his own very successful company, Filterco Services, where he has been very busy since.

Shane’s hobbies included golfing, fishing, sledding, camping at the lake, and more recently he got into stock car racing at the Hythe motor Speedway and had a love for restoring anything with a motor.

Dianne and I are very sad to hear of Shane's passing and want to send our condolences to Gregg, Sylvia and family. We are sitting here reminiscing the good times we all had at the lake with Shane, Christi and our kids when they were in their teens and we spent the weekends with our two boats water skiing and swimming away the summers. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry for your loss. I have worked with Filterco Services for many years and got to know Shane. Quite a character! My deepest condolences to the family.

Oh Shaner...we are all heartbroken. We grew up together as kids, every summer, but as adults of course our lives got busy with our own families. We reconnected at Mom's funeral 5 years ago and have kept in touch since. I am so thankful for that. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your beautiful girls and their families, Gregg and Sylv, Christi, Steve and family, Rachelle and family, Rhonda and Bev, and to Leanne Sample and her family. Sincerely With Love, Ross & Val & family.
