Obituary For Taylor Granberg
June 29, 1993 – August 8, 2023
Taylor Denée Marie Granberg of Grande Prairie passed away suddenly on August 8, 2023, at the young age of 30.
Taylor is survived by her young son Fredrick, her mother and stepfather Paula and Kurt Kellgren, father Kirk Woolsey, and four brothers, Lane Murphy, and Emilio, Gerry and Kirk Woolsey, as well as many extended family members.
Taylor had a deep love for all things living. Whether it was a plant, bird, reptile, farm animal or dog. But cats seemed to be her favourite. Some of her happiest days were spent chasing baby calves around at the GP Auction Mart.
She loved a great party and being with her friends. She was always up for an adventure, and loved the ocean, thus eventually took her to Bali, which she always dreamed of returning to. She was consistently up for any type of carpentry project or house renovation where she could show off her skills.
Shortly before her 26th birthday she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy she named Fredrick who instantly became her greatest love, and her greatest admirer. Her smile and humour are mirrored in him.
Her humour was infectious. Her smile contagious. Her heart was always on her sleeve.
Her life's brief candle now extinguished, a void in our hearts remains, a starry absence in the tapestry of our days.
A Celebration of Life for Taylor will be held on Friday, August 18th at 2pm at Bear Creek Funeral Home 11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie.
