Trudy passed away peacefully at home on September 11, 2022.

Trudy was born in Beaverlodge September 28, 1952, to Ivar and Gladys Bolin. She was the oldest of four siblings.

Trudy and her husband Jim welcomed their son Christopher to the world on November 24, 1980. She was a long-time resident of the Beaverlodge area. She was very active with ladies fastball in the Peace Country area. She later coached and supported minor ball and all amateur sports in Beaverlodge.

She supported all of her family and friends in all of their endeavors.

Trudy was an avid baseball fan her entire life.

Trudy is survived by her son, Chris McRae, stepson Troy McRae, brother Jack (Rinley) Bolin, sister Barbara Bolin, and her sister-in-law Sherry Bolin. She will also be missed greatly by her nieces; Jayme (Marty) Lillico (and their children Cruz and Dally Lillico), Sharlee (Jamie) Anderson (and children Jagger, Hayze, and Maveryk Anderson), and Raylee Bolin; as well as nephews Chance Bolin, and Alec (Brooklyn) Bolin (and Illiana Bolin).

Trudy is predeceased by her husband, Jim McRae; dad, Ivar “Sonny” Bolin; mom, Gladys Bolin; and her brother, Ron Bolin.

A Celebration of Life for Trudy McRae will be held at the Rio Grande Rodeo Grounds on October 1, 2022, at 1:00 pm.
