Obituary For Tyler Anthony Hunter

July 5, 1994 – December 7, 2022It is with heavy hearts, we mournfully announce the unexpected passing of Tyler Anthony Hunter on December 7th, 2022.Tyler grew up in Charlie Lake BC. There he attended Charlie Lake Elementary until grade 8, then North Peace secondary school until grade 11, then completed and graduated from Composite High school in Grande Prairie. Tyler was engaged to Brianne Labreche and had a son, Finn Hunter.Ultimately Tyler was married to his work and committed to providing a great life for his family. He spent many years with a few different companies working his way to his dream roll on big inch pipeline. Throughout those years he made many acquaintances but also many solid friendships, even a bromance or two. He loved spending his days off enjoying the outdoors and was always looking for faster, more powerful to toys to add to his collection. When he wasn’t out finding his next adrenaline rush you could always find him at Iron Nation which was his most powerful outlet. Of course, if not doing those things, he was at home spending time with his family. Even though his time as a father was short, he was the most caring and helpful father anyone could hope for. Every chance he got he proudly bragged of his son Finn. Tyler will always be remembered as a huge hearted, caring, and generous person with a wild streak and a one-of-a-kind humour. His famous saying when he was up to no good was “Wanna see a trick?”, when those words slipped out you knew you were in for a treat. In addition to Brianne and Finn, Tyler is survived by his parents, Kelly Hunter, Sherri Wiese (Dale Klassen) and Dan Ruiz. His siblings Mateo Hunter, Anya Martens, Miah Martens, Mariah Bartel, Jersey Ruiz, and Kaelan Ruiz. Grandparents Brenda and Terry Pope. Maurie Hunter (Marilyn Hunter). He was predeceased by his grandmother Selma Hunter. A gathering of friends and family will be held at Bear Creek Funeral Home at 11802 99 Avenue Grande Prairie on December 21st, 2022, at 11:00 am. The family will be there to welcome friends and relatives with a small luncheon to follow.Care entrusted to Bear Creek Funeral Home 780 830 7742 bearcreekfuneral.com
