Obituary For Vickea (Victoria) Zenner

January 24, 1961 – May 4, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vickea (Victoria) Zenner on May 4th, 2023 at the age of 62 years. Vickea was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta, where most of her family resides.

She grew up in a family of 12, 9 boys and 2 girls and was kept busy as a young girl helping care for her siblings. She was an independent and very strong willed woman which led her in to the construction industry at a very young age, and continued throughout her life. Vickea devoted her life to working construction, being a dedicated mother to her 4 children, and planting many gardens; which was a great passion of hers. She could make anything and everything grow. Vickea was then finally blessed with her 2 grandbabes, which she loved very much and patiently waited for more.

Vickea is survived by her 4 children Robin (Lara), Austin, Brittany (Daniel), Carolina, Kelsey, and Cody (Caitlyn), her siblings Richard, Kelvin, Kenneth, Edward, Daniel, Ronald, Donald, Nicholas, Mel, Karen, and Cindy, as well as 35 nieces and nephews, plus 28 great nieces and nephews.

Vickea is pre-deceased by both her parents Antionette and Richard Zenner, nephew Jamie Zenner, and niece Jennifer Zenner.

A private, family only service will be held on Monday May 15th, 2023 at Bear Creek Funeral Home (11802 99 Avenue) at 1pm.

Thinking of you all at this time. Growing up with the family meant so much to me. Vickea was someone I always looked up to. I spent a lot of time at her house when she lived by DeBolt, a lot of coffee, a lot of laughs. She will be missed.
